I got bored with it. I was on the beta and it just didn't have much to hold my attention. But thats me.

Ditto. Beta 6, I believe.............. held my interest for roughly 2 days.

Yeah, I played the beta for 2-3 weeks and it got real old real quick.. Although I had 2 level 50ish (out of 150 level cap) characters.. (Player wipes suck.)

Combat is the big downside of the game, imo. The game kind of plays itself in that regard. Find a monster, press spacebar (auto-follow), press F (fire all weapons) until monster is dead, pick up loot.. Well, until you get 3rd tier weapons, then they auto-fire after the first shot so you only have to press F once and then wait. There are no real healer or crowd-control type classes like in most MMORPGs..

Still, it was real fun for 2-3 weeks.. and when you buy the game, you get a month free.. So for the price, it's about the same amount of play as you'd get from any other PC game.. It's probably worth trying out in that regard.. and who knows, maybe since they implemented the storyline (which wasn't there during beta), the game actually got fun.

I was in the beta, and well, after playing for a few days you figure out that there is nothing to do in this game. everything is done over and over again. the gfx are nice, but there really isnt a sense of community in this game at all. this game it looks to me is centered mainly around solo play as there is hardly ever any groups around, or guilds for that matter.

Just canceled today. I bought it when it came out, and was really addicted for a couple weeks. Trying to advance when you get to higher levels is so mind-numbingly boring. Way more so than other mmorpgs I've played.
But its fun for a little while...
