Intel Roadmap Update
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 02, 2002 11:29am PDTThe Inquirer has some new Intel CPU release info, taken from the latest Intel roadmaps. Not a whole lot going on, but there it is mentioned that a 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 is now coming in the third quarter of this year. It was due in the fourth quarter at first. A 1.9Ghz Pentium4 Celeron is on its way too, and will cost about $138.

Go Intel... 4.6 times the cost at probably less than 2 times the performance. You know the masses may just eat that up, too.
