The current staff consists of John Romero, Tom Hall, Stevie Case, Lucas Davis and Brian Moon, with Moon joining the ex-ION Storm members from Ensemble Studios. Everyone is multi-talented and because of that, we can stay small -- which is how we like it here at Monkeystone. It's great being able to get things done instantaneously because everyone is right here working together."In addition, there is an interview with Stevie Case, John Romero and Tom Hall on Voodoo Extreme, talking about their new company the and game Hyperspace Delivery Boy.

Step 1) Consolodate resources. Find out exactly how much time and money you have to complete a project. Set deadlines for project milestones and stick to them. Very important.
Step 2) Create a concise, thorough and realistic design document. Your first project should be a very simple, small game that people will want to play. I know it's hard to shoot for the stars with portable systems, but if you're ever determined to push a system to its limits then you had better deliver.
Step 3) DO NOT OVER-HYPE. If your product is good, word of mouth will make it a success. If you claim your product is God's gift to gaming, delivering anything less will damn you and your company.
Step 4) Shoot John Romero in the head.
Step 5) Put Tom Hall in charge.
Following all these rules will make you a successful company.

Then all we need is a 3G wireless or a 802.11b card to play games while sitting on the can! Right now I read AvantGo web pages while sitting on the can, but posting on the Shack while sitting on the can is the future.
All I could always remember is Romero fuckin playing with his IPAQ (Compaq handheld) for the whole fuckin tournament! And of course there was Killcreek right next to him feeling his 1 inch POP COCK while Romero was SUPPOSEDLY coding something on the IPAQ.
GAY.
This whole idea sounds a little stupid if you ask me. Everyone is talking about BETTER graphics and BETTER engines and shit, I dont see how they are gonna make money with a fad that was around when my mother was breast-feeding me back in 1980 - Cheap graphics, etc..
If we wanna see entertainment, it would be a video of Romero shaving that mop on his head that you call HAIR.

I always have to jump to this guys defence, after all - reading his website and multiple interviews, seeing a screenshot of him crying because some stupid fuck was so harsh to him in an email - just shows what animals half the gaming scene are.
Go read his webpage - thoroughly - he's a true gamer, and a nostalgic gamer - definately WILL make another GOOD game before his time is up.

Taking the piss out of Daikatana was fun for a while but, really, don't we all have something better to do now?
But then again, I'm kind of out of it when it comes to the portable scene. Maybe there is a market there.

Going back to the basics can give you a fresh perspective.
Let me give a translation for this:
business stuff = answering the phone
public relations = eye candy for conventions and sales
hiring = see above
publishing = more nude pics in playboy and any magazine that let's her in
