It may have been several years since Crash Bandicoot was part of the modern gaming conversation, but that doesn't mean that Sony's once-popular mascot doesn't have anything to offer current-generation players. Players who want a taste of something different or those who want to relive some of their favorite gaming experiences of yesteryear should check out the recently-released Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and we've got some Xbox One X gameplay to whet their appetites.

What's new in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy? Well, for starters, the collection includes full remasters of the series' first three games, including the original Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped. These games were released for the original PlayStation in 1996, 1997, and 1998 respectively, meaning the latest collection has revived them after essentially three decades of lying dormant. The new titles have been given the full overhaul treatment, with gameplay rebuilt from the ground up, plus reworked audio, visuals, and environments.

It won't be too long before the return of Crash drops into players' hands, as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is set to launch for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on June 29, 2018. The PlayStation 4 release will be the following day on June 30, 2018.
