June is Pride Month, and Twitch is doing its part with a special celebration. The streaming platform is holding a series of campaigns to help showcase the community's diversity. All month, Twitch will be promoting LGBTQ+ creators on its homepage, marching in the San Francisco Pride Parade, helping to support various charities, and introducing a variety of new emotes, Cheermote, and even T-shirts.

Each day in June a different creator will be spotlighted on the front page. You can check out the full schedule here. But if you want a more tangible way to show your support, you can pick up four new "Cheer for Equality" shirts with gay, bisexual, transgender, and lesbian flags on them, with 100% of each sale will go to the HRC. They can be bought at the official Twitch merchandise store.

There are also four new global emotes based on the shirt designs as well as a new rainbow flag Cheermote, or an animated version of a global emote that animated when you cheer with Bits. They're all permanent and you can keep using them after June 30 comes and goes.

You can watch Twitch's staff taking part in the San Francisco Pride Parade, and also tune into the LGBTQ+ creator experience panel at Twitch HQ on June 22, which will all be livestreamed via the Twitch Office channel.

"Our community is strongest and our creators make the best content when everyone on Twitch feels like they belong and can be themselves,” said Brittany Brown, Community Campaign Manager at Twitch. “Since diversity and inclusivity are core principles of Twitch, we have planned an entire month of events and fundraisers dedicated to promoting and maintaining these values.”

Get ready to show off your Pride spirit this month with all the festivities kicking off today!
