If you’ve been waiting to pick up your first Xbox One console, Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to get onto Microsoft’s gaming platform. We’ve spent some time sifting through various retailers looking for the best deals on Xbox One hardware and have collated them below for easy viewing.
While some retailers have been nice enough to show what deals they’ll be offering come Black Friday, some have not, so keep in mind that the prices listed are subject to change and a lot of the deals will go on sale once Black Friday hits.
What Xbox One Should I Buy?
Before we dive into the amazing Black Friday Xbox One deals, it’s important to know the differences between the consoles in the Xbox One family. There are currently two Xbox One consoles on the market:
- Xbox One S
- Xbox One X
The Xbox One S is a beefy console that supports 4K Blu-ray, large hard drive space, and a compact size. The Xbox One X is Microsoft’s latest and greatest, offering 4K gameplay, 60 frames-per-second, faster load times, and a myriad of other improvements – it’s considered the best console on the market right now.
If you have a 4K TV or plan on finding a 4K TV Black Friday deal, the Xbox One X is an excellent choice, as it will be able to take full advantage of your setup. Anyone who doesn’t have a 4K TV and doesn’t plan on picking one up should go for the Xbox One S. Alternatively, if you don’t care about playing video games at 60fps in 4K resolution, the Xbox One S is a quality choice, and you’ll save a few more dollars.
You might find the standard Xbox One on sale during Black Friday. This is technically the third version of the console (originally released back in 2013), but the Xbox One S is a significantly better choice, and often competitively priced.
