Raiden is the next fighter set to hit Injustice 2. After that, there's still one more fighter left to go in Fighter Pack #2 in the form of Dark Horse's Hellboy, but that apparently isn't stopping NetherRealm from looking ahead to the next round of DLC fighters.

Tuesday evening, NetherRealm dropped a trailer for The Atom, another future DLC character set to hit the developer's DC Comics fighter. Interestingly, he's not the Ray Palmer version of the character that's recently been popularized by CW shows like "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow." It's actually the more recent incarnation of the character, physics scientist Ryan Choi. Choi can be seen changing his size at will to toss around his opponents and even shows the ability to grow to towering heights. Even his Clash animation sees him shrinking to miniature size to confront his foe.

There is no other information on The Atom at this time. Again, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm are still in the middle of getting Fighter Pack #2 out. But look for a release date and information about Fighter Pack #3 to come soon.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
