Sony Reveals Limited Gran Turismo Sport Edition PS4 Bundle

The silver and black console/controller are limited to a 1TB PS4. The additional bundles, including PS4 Pro, come with the standard jet black versions.

The Gran Turismo series has long been a mainstay on PlayStation consoles but racing fans have had to patiently wait for the first GT entry on the PS4. It’s only a little while longer with the release date planned for October 17th and, today, the president of Polyphony Digital announced a special edition of the PS4 to coincide with the game’s release.

Kazunori Yamauchi took to the European PlayStation blog to share details on the new Limited Edition Gran Turismo Sport PS4. The console and controller are both silver and black and are emblazoned with the classic Gran Turismo logo.

That particular color scheme and logo combination will be limited to a 1TB standard PS4 that comes with the Day 1 edition of Gran Turismo Sport. Other bundles, including a PS4 Pro and PS4 with an extra controller, will also include the Day 1 edition of the game but will have the jet black versions of the console and DualShock 4 controller.

The Day 1 edition of Gran Turismo Sport comes with $250,000 worth of in-game credits, sticker packs for cars, a chrome racing helmet, and 60 PS4 avatars. The game will be available on October 17th.
