The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 universe is expanding to Nintendo Switch on September 22, according to publisher Bandai Namco. The version for the new console-handheld hybrid was originally announced back in January.

Players on the Switch will be getting a new six-player local multiplayer mode. It will also use the Joy-Con motion control system to let players perform signature moves from the series, such as the Goku's Kamehameha finishing move and Spirit Bomb, taught to Goku by King Kai.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 came out first on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in October of last year.

The Dragon Ball franchise will get even more love with the new Dragon Ball Fighter Z coming sometime early next year. It would not be surprising if Fighter Z eventually moves to the Switch as well after first debuting on the other platforms.
