Destiny 2 will bring Bungie's FPS series to the PC for the first time, and the developer wants to do it right. That means this version will likely be released after the console editions on September 8, but the goal is to make sure there are no hitches or problems with gameplay.

We caught up with PC Project Lead David Shaw at the Destiny 2 reveal event to pick his brain on how the game will be different from its console cousins, including playing in 4K resolution.

Sadly, don't expect any gameplay, as we were prohibited from showing anything, but at least you get to here what will happen on PC. Hopefully, we will see it in action soon.

So, cross-platform play is pretty much dead?

If I had to guess, I'd say there will still be cross-platform play between all of the console versions, but the PC will most likely not be cross-platform with consoles. Destiny 1 does a *LOT* of aim assisting to let the standard controller setup be effective, and trying to figure out how to keep parity between those two systems (that is, controllers+assist vs mouse & keyboard+no assist) would be difficult to say the least.
