Destiny 2 has finally launched Season 17, the Season of the Haunted, and with it comes a fat stack of patch notes as the game moves into its Update 4.1.0 build. There’s a lot to take in as we see the return of the Leviathan and the revival of various weapons alongside new ones. However, the headliner for many is likely to be the rework of the Solar subclass. Destiny 2 Update 4.1.0 finally brings the Solar 3.0 rework to all classes.

Bungie launched Destiny 2 Update 4.1.0 and its accompanying patch notes on May 24, 2022, kicking off Season of the Haunted. The big headliner is Solar 3.0, a major rework of the classic subclass that brings it up to speed with Stasis and Void classes. There were also big nerfs to shotguns and buffs to sniper rifles to try to balance them out in both PVP and PVE.
