Shacknews Dump - December 17, 2021

Published , by TJ Denzer

The Shacknews Dump has had quite the news year. All throughout the year, we’ve brought you the best and most interesting stories as we close out each week. We took a small break as we prepared great forthcoming Game of the Year content for you, but now it’s time to put a proper cap on the year with the return and last Shacknews Dump of 2021.

On this December 17 edition of the Shacknews Dump, we close out the year with one final look back at the year’s biggest stories. It was a wild and ridiculous year for stories with a number of major trends making waves throughout the entire year. GameStop’s rise like a phoenix through stock shenanigans will be on the slate. We’ll also be talking about the ridiculousness surrounding Activision Blizzard, its leadership, and workers rights. Halo Infinite’s roller coaster of a development cycle throughout the year will also be in the queue.

Join us on the Shacknews Twitch channel at 1:30 p.m. PT / 4:30 p.m. ET as we go live to share the year’s last Shacknews Dump. You can also watch just below.
