Rome: Total War - Alexander Announced

The TotalWar.com website has been updated, announcing the development of the Alexander expansion pack for Rome: Total War. Available this June, the expansion features a singleplayer campaign where you assume the role of Alexander the Great. The campaign should add up to about 30 hours of gameplay, and will include 6 historic battles, 4 new factions and over 60 new units. Rome: Total War - Alexander will be available as a digital download through sega.com and sega-europe.com.

SEGA has released a new Rome: Total War patch, updating the strategy game to version 1.3. The update offers balancing changes and bug fixes, and allows you to play multiplayer against people who have Barbarian Invasion installed.

SEGA today announced that it has acquired the publishing rights to Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion. The expansion pack was originally going to be published by Activision, but the move to SEGA is not a surprising one as the company acquired Total War developer The Creative Assembly not too long ago.
