Gone Gold is reporting that the Aliens versus Predator 2 expansion Primal Hunt has gone gold. Primal Hunt was developed by Third Law Interactive (KISS: Psycho Circus) and will start shipping on the 13th.

XGR will be broadcasting another audio interview tonight, this time with Fox Interactive's Paul Pawlicki. Paul is associate producer on the Alien Vs. AvP2 Patch

Monolith has released a new 7mb patch for Aliens vs Predator 2, updating their FPS to version 1.0.9.6. There are several multiplayer changes and there is better mod support. If you have a foreign version of the game, here are links to the German, French, Spanish, Italian or Korean versions of the patch.

The folks at AVPNews send along word of a new expanion announced for Aliens vs Predator 2. You can have a look see at the PR here, or the quick list of what the features are below. It's gonna retail for $19.99

- Nine new single player levels (3 per species)
- Intense multi-player combat – includes 4 new levels
- Includes all patches/updates and additional maps issued by Monolith since the release of AvP2.
- New species-specific weapons and combat styles
--- Human - Dual Pistols, Turret Gun, Deployable Sentry Gun
--- Predator - Energy Flechette, Self-Destruct (only in multiplayer)
- Two new creatures indigenous to the planet.

AvP2 Patch

Sierra has released a new patch for Aliens versus Predator 2, updating Monolith's FPS to version 1.0.9.5. There's a patch for English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Korean versions of the game. Version 1.0.9.5 fixes two server issues and a bug in the Compound map among other things. AvP2 Linux Plans

The Aliens versus Predator 2 team .plan file has been updated, with the news that a Linux server for the game is actually still gonna be released. Monolith will be testing the current code, if you wanna help try and find [LXBETA] servers. If everything goes well the Linux server should be released in a few weeks.
