Amid all the hubub of Nintendo's 3DS press event, Capcom announced its upcoming fighter Super Street Fighter IV 3D will be available on launch day for the Nintendo's new handheld in North America.

The Nintendo 3DS will launch in North America on March 27 for $249.99.

The reveal came from a post on the Capcom Unity blog, which claimed SSF4 will be "the only title to utilize the full capabilities of Nintendo's online network at launch."

The game hadn't been narrowed to a specific day in Nintendo's launch line-up, remaining in the vague "launch window" category. However, the game has been shown extensively at most 3DS events, and that paired with Capcom's statement means it's safe to pin it on an exact date.

Along with new screens for the handheld brawler, Capcom released two new trailers for the game. Check them out after the break.

Yeah, I can't believe they want to miss the opportunity to rake in the gobs of green they'll get from PC gamers.
