Humble Indie Bundle #2 Now Offering Free Humble Indie Bundle #1

8
The brilliant 'pay what you want' Humble Indie Bundle #2 keeps getting better, as organiser Wolfire Games has now announced that you can receive the six games from the original Humble Indie Bundle for free.

All 180,00-odd customers who bought Bundle #2 before this announcement was made will have automatically received Bundle #1 for nowt. New purchasers, though, will need to spend more than whatever Bundle #2's average purchase price is at the time in order to receive Bundle #1. When this story was written, the average was $7.33 but surely you'd pay more than that for all those games and to help charity anyway, wouldn't you?

The Humble Indie Bundle #2 contains DRM-free versions of Machinarium, Osmos, Braid, Cortex Command and Revenge of the Titans for PC, Mac and Linux, which you can activate on Steam if you fancy. The original Bundle contains World of Goo, Gish, Aquaria, Lugaru HD, Samorost 2 and Penumbra Overture. It's the bargain of the year.

The Bundle is now due to stop being available at 6pm on December 25--though of course who could say for certain, considering how many times it's been extended.

This may be a silly question but how exactly do I redeem everything through steam? I have the steam key but am unsure about how to proceed.

I believe it's under the game drop down at the top of your steam window. There should be an option to add steam game and then it will ask you for the key. I'm not at home to confirm, but hope that helps.
