Included with the limited edition of Stardock's Elemental: War of Magic is a lore book called the Hiergamenon World Guide.

Shacknews has teamed up with Stardock to present some excerpts from that book and it continues now with a look at the game's "Kingdoms of the West", seen below.

The book was written by Stardock CEO and Elemental lead designer Brad Wardell with assistance from Random House, which is also publishing the companion book Elemental: Destiny's Embers through Del Rey on August 24.

The game itself will also be released on August 24 at retail and digitally through Stardock's Impulse service. A beta is currently running for pre-order customers.

    Purchased this game almost a year ago, and playing each of the beta versions is pretty fun from time to time.

    I love that they're giving us early access for buying early.

      Limited Edition includes the "Lore Book".

      Destiny's Embers is a separate book that you can get from Amazon, etc.
