'Show Us Your Left 4 Dead' Contest Winners

10
Our "Show Us Your Left 4 Dead Art Contest and Giveaway" has come to a close--the votes tallied, the commenters randomly chosen--and now it's time to announce the winners.

Simply narrowing the one hundred twenty eight images we received--located here and here--into twenty finalists was a tough task. The votes submitted by our panel of judged reflected how difficult it was to pick the five winners out of those twenty finalists--in fact, we had to call in additional "tie-breaker" judge.

So, without further ado, the winners (and prizes) of our Art Contest:

Grand Prize: Eli S. Second Place: Amy L.
A three-month GameFly subscription and Left 4 Dead Mystery Shack Pack
    Third Place: Peter H.
A one-month GameFly subscription and Left 4 Dead Mystery Shack Pack
Honorable Mentions: Ben B. and Mike S.
A Left 4 Dead Mystery Shack Pack

And the five randomly-selected commenters that, so long as they meet our eligibility requirements, will receive a Left 4 Dead Mystery Shack Pack:

  • GrieverIIDX
  • orlyarly
  • FRANC1S
  • HellJumper777
  • spazzium

Winners, keep an eye on your e-mail or Shackmessages for further instructions.

But wait, there's more! We also have ten copies of Left 4 Dead 2 PC to give away in Steam key form. If you want one, let us know in the comments below--no purchase is required to enter--we'll be random select the winning comments later in the week.

[Update - 1:30pm on May 18, 2010] And the ten random copies of Left 4 Dead 2 PC go to amrbean, CrazyCanuck90, docholoday, GuitarrassDeAmor, LankyJon, passingstranger, rusboy, SirX, SpinyNorman, TheSpoter419. Winners, check your Shackmessages.

Thanks again to the fine folks at Valve Software and Shacknews parent company GameFly for providing the prizes and making this entire contest possible.

I was top 20 but didn't get picked. But a copy of L4D2 would be nice.
