Telltale's 'Puzzle Agent' Pilot Priced, Detailed

1
A few new details on Telltale's forthcoming one-off pilot "Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent" have been unleashed by the company, along with a rather snazzy pre-order deal.

As Telltale explains: "Special Agent Nelson Tethers, the sole member of the FBI's Puzzle Research division, is on his way to the icy heart of the Midwestern United States to investigate the apparent stoppage of all production at the Scoggins Erasers Company--the exclusive eraser provider for the White House."

The game marks the first of Telltale's new experimental pilot program, in which, similar to network television, the company will be producing various one-off games with the intention of turning the most popular or successful pilots into a full franchise.

At present, Telltale is offering up both the June-due PC and Mac editions of Puzzle Agent in a $9.95 bundle. "If you get Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent, all the other items in your cart will be 50% off," the company writes, cautioning that "this discount does not apply toward Puzzle Agent game itself or the Monkey Island Games bundle."

Downloadable iPhone, iPad and Wii editions of Puzzle Agent are likewise due in June, though Telltale has cautioned that the various versions may not arrive simultaneously.
