Glorious FMV-based gameplay makes its return to the PlayStation Network this Thursday by way of the 2009 award-winning adventure-thriller, Hysteria Project.

According to the official PlayStation.Blog, Bangkok-based developer Sanuk Games's port of Hysteria Project will be downloadable as a PlayStation Mini on the PlayStation Store for a mere $1.99, and will be playable on both the PS3 and PSP.

The original version of the game was released by Bulkypix, and garnered Paris' "Revelation 2009" Milthon award. The Sanuk Games port is already available in Europe.

If screenshots aren't enough, you can check out some footage of the original version here. (Warning: Contains intense scenes of duct-tape removal and branch-clearing!)
