PlayStation Store Update Brings Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Aliens vs. Predator Demos

12
Another PlayStation Store update is upon us, ushering in PS3 versions of demos for the highly-anticipated Aliens vs. Predator and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

The Aliens vs. Predator demo clocks in at 1.25 GB, and the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo is 997 MB, meaning those who want to play both as soon as possible are likely in for a little download progress bar watching first.

Fret Nice, developer Pieces Interactive's cheerful guitar-controlled musical-platformer also hits the PlayStation Store for $14.99, accompanied by its own downloadable demo. Fret Nice will also be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade at some point in the future but no release information is available yet.

Check out the PlayStation.Blog for a complete list of this week's updates.

40GB/month is extremely generous compared to some ISPs' absurdly low bandwidth caps. I've heard about users in Greenland that have to put up with caps as low as 2GB/month.

wow, bad luck. i pay $50 a month for 120GB a month (60GB on-peak/ 60GB off-peak) with TPG and because I'm down the road from the exchange I get killer download rates and pings in gaming.

I pay about the same but in my country there is no limit.

In South Africa our caps are between 1 and 5 gig per month. And it's expensive, very expensive relative to what we earn in out local currency. It's possible to get "uncapped" (which is often shaped\throttled depending on usage..), but it'll cost you as much as renting an apartment in a good area.
