Aliens vs. Predator NA 'Hunter Edition' Revealed

19
Hot on the heels of yesterday's Aliens vs. Predator story trailer, publisher SEGA has announced that North America will receive a 'Hunter Edition' of Rebellion's shooter.

Bonus goodies in the Hunter Edition coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 include a replica facehugger, a "special collector's edition" of "the original Aliens vs Predator comic," a Weyland-Yutani Corp sew-on patch, four exclusive multiplayer maps that will receive a public release later on, SteelBook packaging and a "3D lenticular card."

SEGA announced earlier this month that a similar Hunter Edition would hit Europe and--now the 'ban' has been overturned--Australia, minus the graphic novel.

For further virtual swag when AvP hits PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2010, you can pre-order from GameStop to receive four exclusive multiplayer skins.

I'm usually not for Collector's Editions, but this may just have my heart.

Any word on who's doing the graphic novel? How awesome would it be if Dark Horse was making it?

Also, can you only get this edition through gamestop?

from the post - it sounds like it might be the original graphic novel. I have it, but would love it in hardback if they have it. i still read my copy of the novel

from the picture it doesn't look like a hardback.

It's not a new graphic novel, it's a new edition of "the original Aliens vs Predator comic," so probably the first story collected.

You can get it from anywhere.
