Shack PSA: Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell on Sale; Freedom Force Added to Steam

As usual, there are plenty of attractive gaming deals going on this weekend, including a Steam slashing of Ubisoft titles.

Assassin's Creed has been reduced to $10 on the download service, while Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell Double Agent can be had for $5 apiece. Capcom's Flock! has also been marked down by half to $7.50, and Unreal Tournament 3 free weekend has seen that game marked down to $10.

Meanwhile, superhero strategy classics Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich have both been added to Steam's catalog. The fan favorites were designed by Irrational, also known as BioShock developer 2K Boston. The games can be picked up for $4.50 apiece, or $6.74 for the two-pack.

Boxed deals at GoGamer include Left 4 Dead for $30, Fallout 3 for $32, Clive Barker's Jericho for $10, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic for a mere $3.

I can't believe Assassin's Creed is so underrated. It has the best story ever. And the fights are cool.

Why did I reply to this post instead of making a new one? Gah.
