Dexter: The iPhone Game: The Screenshots
The game is based on the Showtime original hit series DEXTER, and will involve puzzle solving, stealth tactics, mini-games, and "slashing" with the iPhone itself (using the accelerometer tech). You have two choices for how to control Dexter: you can tilt the iPhone left and right, then use the forward and backward buttons on-screen, or use a virtual joystick in the lower corner of the screen. Dexter's interactions with other people require thought and strategy, as to not raise suspicions for Dexter's "Dark Passenger". This means maintaining your "Mask" - if this meter goes all the way down, it is game over.
Developed by Icarus Studios, the game was penned by show writer Timothy Schlattmann and features the vocal talents of Dexter himself, Michael C. Hall.

Too bad TV show games usually suck even harder than movie games 'cause I love me some Dexter.

I'm sure that's exactly what the dev is counting on. I love Dexter as much as the next informed shacker but this is really a stretch. I do wonder how much blood will be too much for Apple. This is very M material and it's hard to tone down a job in Blood Spatter Analysis with moonlighting as a serial killing vigilante.

Honestly I don't know but considering what an amoral, over-controling monopolizing company that MS *cough* I mean Apple is, you have to wonder what they will do about games like this. Anyway I wouldn't be caught dead with a Jesus phone no matter what games were on it so it's just me wondering out loud.

I agree to an extent with you, and as a fan of the show, I'd hate to see them pull some tame excuse of a game just to line their pockets further.
What we need is some stealth gameplay, maybe some type of mini-game (to pick locks or what have you) and all the violence and profanity that the show has.
Then... maybe then... they will have something worth playing.
