Multi-platform 2008 Bestsellers Revealed by NPD
A new compilation of 2008 sales data released by the NPD shows that despite challenge from Madden and GTA, Wii Play was the best-selling overall piece of gaming software in the US last year.
The overall US software leaders in 2008:
- Wii Play -- 5.28 million
- Madden NFL '09 -- 5.25 million
- Grand Theft Auto IV -- 5.22 million
- Mario Kart Wii -- 5.00 million
- Call of Duty: World at War -- 4.63 million
