The latest Skate 2 trailer from publisher EA examines the eternal conflict that continues each year in etnies' Goofy vs. Regular competition. Sporting the ability to get off the board and push things around to set up new trick lines, EA Black Box's skateboarding sequel arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year.

If this has any of the addictive qualities of the first few Tony Hawk games colour me in!

If you haven't played the first skate I'd recommend you pick it up now.

I second that suggestion. People thinking it's a Tony Hawk-esque game might be disappointed. This is a much more authentic skating experience. More realistic, less super-uber-900-kickflip-McSomething's.

I love the first one. I can't wait for this one. My thumb is already shaking in anticipation.

i third that suggestion. Skate has far more depth than all of the TH games combined. ill buy Skate 2. the first was a blast.

        Not now - but NOW ! :)

Seriously, it is great fun - and seems to rank well between both noobs (me) and hardcore players.
Not to forget - real life skaters like it a lot also.
