Silent Hill: Homecoming PC Only Arriving via Steam in North America

While Europeans will receive eventually receive a PC-DVD release of Silent Hill: Homecoming , Konami has confirmed with Joystiq that North Americans will only be able to purchase the PC edition via Valve's digital distribution platform Steam.

No reason was specified for the decision.

Developed by Double Helix, the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 survival horror title arrives in North America this September, followed by a European release in November.

    Wow, go Valve - but isn't the greatest amount of piracy found in Europe/Asia?

      Lol, it's off the charts in Asia cuz it's practically the only way to get games, piracy pretty much fuels an underground market there.

      retail sales of PC games are way, way higher in Europe in particular.
