Shiny, The Collective Merger Titled Double Helix

Parent publisher Foundation 9 has announced that the studio consisting of former development houses Shiny and The Collective—first formed by a merger last October—is now known as Double Helix.

Foundation says that the new studio is working on three multi-platform games, including the former Collective's Silent Hill 5.

"Making games is in our DNA," said new studio head Michael Saxs Persson. "The Double Helix name is perfect for our studio because it invokes the thought of two studios coming together to build a powerful new force in game development."
