Codemasters Reveals Emergency Mayhem Wii

1
Codemasters has pulled back the curtain on Emergency Mayhem for Wii, a mission-based mini-game title due out next spring.

Built around chaos and rescue and described by the company as having "a decidedly slapstick nature," the game's situations are said to border on ludricious. One mini-game has players preventing a jailbreak by correcting positioning a trampoline, another has them herding penguins.

Along with the 30 missions of the single-player campaign, up to four players can play together in the game's multiplayer mode.

No comments? sheesh, ok, well, it looks like a kiddy version of crazy taxi with mini games smushed in between. can be fun i suppose. Where are the game studios trying new ideas for the wii, like a mix of PSO and your miis? seems everyone is looking past miis as if they never existed, but i think games that would use them would do two things....

    1) The graphics will dumbed down to the point where the wii can run it, and be at the level of expectancy that people will be comfortable with (who doesn't love wii sports?)

    2) an infinite amount of possibilities on who you can be

    3) all the work on the player characters done already, lets developers concentrate on game play instead..

the industry is disappointing me as of lately, especially in the wii ballroom of mii-less games.
