New Rock Band Tracks Hit Xbox Live; Weezer, Radiohead, Pretenders Songs Added

Three new tracks for Harmonix's Rock Band are now available for download via Xbox Live Marketplace, providing music lovers and wannabe musicians new tunes to jam along with.

This week's three new tracks are Radiohead's "My Iron Lung," Weezer's "Buddy Holly," and a cover of Pretenders' "Brass in Pocket." Each sells individually for 160 Microsoft Points ($2).

As always, owners of the PlayStation 3 version of Rock Band are expected to receive the content on Thursday when the online PlayStation Store updates. Unfortunately, those that purchased the PlayStation 2 edition, which was released this week and co-developed by Pi Studios and Harmonix, will not be able to partake in the glory of downloadable game-expanding content.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.
