GameSpot has a new Unreal Tournament 2007 preview, offering impressions of a build on display at a recent Midway press event. The article goes over the map DM-CarbonFire, the weapons, vehicles, the game interface and system requirements. There is also a video interview with producer Jeff Morris.         but it IS super-detailed. how about they make an engine that could actually show more detail than any previous engine, and then just cel-shade everything?

        "Morris explained to us that since Unreal Engine 3 is so good at specific lighting and surface effects, UT2K7's levels actually ended up looking a little too polished--so the artists have added "grungification" to the process of level creation, whereby they insert dirt, clutter, and other realistic elements to give the new maps a lived-in feel."
