again? last patch was more of a downgrade for hunters.

What? Our damage improved, we got 3 totally viable skill trees, our pets got a nice buff. How was it that we were downgraded again?

pretty much all cat-using hunters lost at least one pet skill.. for starters.

also other pets are still fucking useless. youve got cats with like 5 or 6 skills, and then you have every other pet with, if youre lucky, one skill, and they cant learn any of the skills cats can, except occasionally dash. oh, and cower. cant forget about cower.

Having bite and claw was pretty pointless on cats anyways. It used way too much focus.

                    what would you suggest?

right now i have growl, bite, claw, and prowl.

the only reason i have prowl is so my cat doesnt completely negate one of the most powerful racials in the game. ill occasionally use it as intended, but it takes off maybe like 20-30 extra hitpoints. woop.

cower is also useless. why in the fuck would i ever wnat my pet to LOSE aggro?

i dont see much point to dash either.

growl is the only real useful pet spell.. the only other one ive found remotely useful is scorpid poison. that shit kicks ass. when i get back into battlegrounds im definately getting a scorpid pet for pvp. dash, scorpid poison.. tons of resist and armor..

I have growl, dash, and claw. As a non Night Elf there is really is no reason for me to get prowl, I don't care for that one extra hit. I put it into more health instead. Growl obviously. Dash to hunt down all those people that try to escape or mages who are blinking around, and of course the claw for damage.

My pet has been taken down I think twice in pvp. It was just more beneficial to give him resists, health, and armor than a second huge focus using skill, and I already mentioned why I don't care for prowl (I do understand it though for Night Elves, damn dirty bastards).
