Movie Games

Since we all love those games made into movies, except not... here's a really good wrap-up of all the game properties that have begun the journey towards the silver screen. Everyone remember that DOOM movie? I wonder if the new DOOM 3 release may renew a bit of interest in that one. Here's one I missed, looks like a Metroid movie:

The Metroid movie is being produced by Warren Zide and Craig Perry (the producers of the American Pie and Final Destination films).  No talent is attached, but there are some story details about the film... It is set in a once peaceful galaxy, which has its prosperity shattered by a startling discovery...  During a routine mapping expedition, a planetary survey crew discovers a new airborne form of life – the Metroid

hah, i wouldnt have a problem but Movie Games do exist, and theyre something completely different, everyone knows license games have a higher chance of sucking

the star wars games are good though for the most part, but most others blow, and this title to the news story confused me greatly
