Looks like the S3 folks are working with VIA to create a new 3D graphics card. There have been some rumblings about this for a bit but I guess you can call this the first confirmation of sorts. An email from the VIA PR folks states:

Coming soon from S3 Graphics Inc., and VIA Technologies, Inc.

Then includes this picture. I imagine we can expect more details later. Things are getting fun! NVidia, ATI, Matrox, and now it looks like VIA/S3 shooting for the gamer market.
