How to Find Bandages and Heal in Outlast 2

Its all about the heals in Outlast 2.

Outlast 2 can be played in a variety of ways, and if you are good at stealth, then you probably won't find too much use for this guide. But if you like to go without much of a care if you get seen or not, then you should know how to take care of the wounds that you will invariably get. Here, we talk about bandages, how to use them and where to find them.

When to Heal

It's easy, actually. Since you don;t have a health bar, it is easy to just play and forget about it. But when you do get a warning, usually after one hit from an enemy that makes you bleed, you'll need to pay attention. Sharp weapons will make you bleed, making the enemies wielding them the most dangerous. If you see one, seriously consider hiding. Every time you need to heal, you'l get a visual cue on the screen.

Finding Bandages

This is actually fairly simple. Just look for glowing items, usually inside open first aid boxes. As you go through the game, scavenging them becomes a bit more difficult, so you'll want to try to play it safe as much as possible. If you do get severely wounded because of a silly mistake, just let yourself die rather than wasting your precious bandage resources. Save them for a time when you really need them and hiding isn't an option. You may have to reload some saves, but in the end, it will be worth it.
