Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, a game best described as aZelda-like due to its art style and game mechanics, is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on September 7. Publisher FDG Entertainment released a new trailer ahead of Gamescom to ring in the good news.

Oceanhorn shares more in common with SNES classic Zelda: A Link to the Past (and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds) than any of the 3D romps across Hyrule. Its mechanics and art style evoke Nintendo's classic look and feel.

The game includes other homages as well, namely to Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana. In fact, Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu composed Oceanhorn's soundtrack, leading to a near-perfect fusion of classic Zelda and Final Fantasy elements.

Oceanhorn costs $15 on PC and lasts for approximately 15 hours, though no price has been announced for the Xbox One and PS4 versions. FDG will likely answer that and other questions as the September 7 release draws closer.
