Alice
by Steve Gibson, Aug 13, 1999 2:01pm PDTAmerican McGee's "Alice" game website has gone live, and although originally American McGee was thought to be working with a full team over at Electronic Arts in-house where he originally was hired, it looks to be that Rogue Entertainment is the dev team of choice. Who also recently announced that former id Software employee Barret Alexander was just hired as their new CEO. Also check out this concept shot Avault scored.
Following weeks of rumors spawned by an Electronic Arts-hosted Web site, http://american.ea.com, EA today officially announced American McGee's Alice, a dark and twisted 3D-action adaptation of Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland. In conjunction with the announcement, EA launched the first phase of the official Alice Web Experience site at http://alice.ea.com. The site features a sinister Cheshire Cat who will reveal information on the upcoming game through weekly riddles over the next several months.

As for Tokay being lame, Ive met him many times in Undernet channels when he was with ID. He was very nice and actually paid attention to what the people said and asked him, unlike some other ID people. *cough*Disruptor*cough*
