WHY MUST YOU MOCK ME SO

Here's the beef - we see the Mighty Romero, with his pony tail and his smile, bragging about his game. There wasn't much of a game to be flagging. Then we see the ION Storm that was created to make such games. ION Storm may go on to produce fine products, but they are all working to erase the first born sinner. Deus, and soon Anox will be punping their hard-won revenue into filling the titanic hole that Romero dug.

Not only did he make things difficult for himself and his Daikatana product, he made it God-awful uncomfortable for the other developers who know when they go to bed at night that their efforts are partially compensating for the loudmouthed guy with the hair.

In an Anox chat awhile back, I asked Tom Hall jokingly if they were going to release a Strat Guide before the game ships. He typed something like (laughs) nope.. He knew what I was referring to.

At least someone had the balls to try and do an ambitious project. Maybe next time it won't have so much drama attached to it.
