Far Cry Primal launches this week, giving players a chance to tame wild beasts, construct rudimentary weapons, and spend a little quality time in the prehistoric era. Ubisoft has had a way with setting its games in unusual time periods, especially with Assassin's Creed, but Primal got us thinking: what other eras aren't meeting their potential in video games?

This week, the Chattycast tackles an important but often unexamined aspect of game design: setting. What settings would you like to see used more often in games? What are your favorite games that have used a unique or unusual setting? Why do game designers so often fall back on a handful of settings?
