Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2: How to Import from GW1
We walk you through how to bring your unlocks from Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare into Garden Warfare 2.
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 allows you to import all of your characters from the first Garden Warfare. This guide will walk you through the process of importing your chracters into EA's second plants versus zombies multiplayer fun house.
- Locate the Mailbox. The mailbox is right next to the main spawn point in both the Plant and Zombie hubs. Once you find it, Check Mail using the B button on the Xbox One, or O on PlayStation 4.
- Find Character Import. It may not be the first item of mail, so scroll through until you see it. Press Y on Xbox One or Triangle on PlayStation 4 to begin the import process. The mailbox will "get the mail" for a few moments.
- Find your unlocked characters. Once the process is complete, you can go to the Character Select tent to find your unlocked characters. It is just to the right of the main gate if facing outwards towards the Backyard Battleground.
Note that while you can import all of your characters, their stats will be reset to level 1. Also, certain promotional classes (Berry Shooter, Citrus Cactus, Chester Chomper, and Dr. Chester) are not returning for this game, and so they are not available to import.
