Following the game's official announcement this week, Capcom has revealed the first teaser trailer for Resident Evil Revelations 2, its episodic weekly horror series that is set to debut in early 2015.

In the trailer, Claire Redfield finds herself in a world of trouble, getting whisked away from a dinner party by armed gunmen, only to end up in a somewhat dark facility filled with all sorts of perilous enemies.

Watch the trailer below and prepare for more Revelations on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC next year.

C-StaR(esident Evil), what do you think of it? I like it, but not as much as I wanted to. I'm not sure how far you've progressed, but every other chapter follows a different character, and any chapter apart from Jill or Chris tends to be overly action-oriented, which drags down the game's renewed focus on creepy environments and enemies.

I only got past the first section. It's all right but obviously a DS port.

I hope Capcom adds co-op functionality to this one. While I prefer single-player horror games, I'd rather drag a human (MY WIFE) along than rely on a dumb AI partner.

Need the damn 3DS version like the first Revelations game was.

Damn you Capcom, damn you to hell.
