Rusty's Real Deal Baseball pitches Nintendo's take on 3DS free-to-play next week

Nintendo is dipping its toe in the free-to-play market, first with Steel Diver: Sub Wars and soon with Rusty's Real Deal Baseball. Nintendo has announced that the F2P baseball mini-game collection will hit the 3DS eShop next week, on April 3.

Nintendo announced the release date via Twitter. As previously reported, it takes a fairly unique approach to the F2P model. The base cost will be $4 if you just want to buy one of the mini-games directly, but doing small tasks for Rusty the shopkeep will get you discounts that apply to the actual cost of the game.
