David Cage and Quantic Dream may have cinematic aspirations, but they're still making video games. A new Beyond: Two Souls video developer diary delves into the nebulous concept of "gameplay," including how it's worked on improving controls and UI since Heavy Rain. Also, it offers delightful glimpses at Ellen Page's teenage goth phase.
"I guess what we are looking for with the gameplay is really to find an interface that will allow you to play life," Cage said in a poorly-edited snippet. "And we try to get closer and closer to the ideal interface where you don't think anymore: you just do it."
Beyond: Two Souls comes exclusively to PlayStation 3 on October 8.
