by Steve Watts, Feb 14, 2013 2:40pm PSTTying in to what Nintendo is cheekily referring to as "The Year of Luigi," the company announced a new large-scale piece of downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros U. The "New Super Luigi U" DLC puts Mario's brother in the starring role.
It's a large piece of content for its scope, though, which changes every stage in the game and essentially makes a new campaign for Luigi. As Nintendo points out, that means all of the game's 80+ stages will be altered. "Players can freely change between the New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. U stages," Nintendo adds. The DLC will be available on the eShop some time later this year.
