Mario & Luigi: Dream Team coming to 3DS this summer
by Steve Watts, Feb 14, 2013 2:25pm PSTDuring today's Nintendo Direct conference, the company announced a new game in the Mario & Luigi RPG series. It's part of what Nintendo is dubbing the "year of Luigi," and puts the focus on Mario's overlooked brother in green. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team will release this summer for 3DS.
The game takes place in Luigi's dreams, allowing him to be the hero. During the short gameplay demonstration, we saw a star sidekick (via stylus control) touching Luigi's face and pulling on his mustache to wake him up. Inside the standard game segments, several dozen Luigis were used to defeat enemies and solve puzzles.
