Guardians of Middle-earth joins PlayStation Plus library tomorrow
by Steve Watts, Feb 04, 2013 9:35am PSTGuardians of Middle-earth wasn't directly tied to The Hobbit, but it rode the wave of excitement -- right down to certain pieces of tie-in DLC. As the movie works its way out of theaters, GOME is still going strong, and starting tomorrow PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab it for free.
The PlayStation Blog announced that tomorrow's update will bring the multiplayer online battle arena for free. It ordinarily costs $14.99 on the PlayStation Store. Like many MOBAs, it has DLC hooks in the form of characters and map skins, and a Season Pass to guarantee all the content.
Tomorrow's update will also give discounts on Karateka (50% off), Big Sky Infinity (40% off), and Knytt Underground (40% off).
