LittleBigPlanet 2 Cross-Controller DLC adds Vita gameplay, out next week
by Andrew Yoon, Dec 12, 2012 3:15pm PSTLittleBigPlanet 2 continues to get less little. Sony's platformer is getting yet another significant expansion next week: the Cross-Controller Pack, which introduces Wii U-esque gameplay via Vita.
With the Cross-Controller feature, you'll be able to take advantage of all sorts of second screen gameplay. The DLC will be available next week for $4.99 and requires a PS3, a PS Vita, and a copy of LittleBigPlanet 2. (Don't worry, you don't need a copy of LittleBigPlanet Vita.)
The Cross-Controller Pack introduces a new adventure that takes advantage of all sorts of rear-touching shenanigans. According to the PlayStation.Blog, "Sackboy joins up with a group of lovable Space Pirates as they race to find a valuable treasure long thought lost to the Cosmos. On their adventure they'll encounter new obstacles that can only be overcome with the help of PS Vita's unique features."
Joystiq has a pretty excellent video detailing how this pack works.
