Dust 514 shows off its vehicles

Dust 514 creator CCP has released a new dev diary focused entirely on the design and functions of vehicles in the game.

EVE Online, the parent game to spin-off Dust 514, is focused heavily on massive ships exploring the depths of space. But Dust is a ground game, and requires more terrestrial vehicles for getting around and smiting your enemies. CCP has highlighted those vehicles in a new developer diary.

The video walks us through the three main classes: Light Attack Vehicles (LAVs), Heavy Attack Vehicles (HAVs), and dropships. Think jeeps, tanks, and helicopters. Since you're actually purchasing these vehicles with your own currency, they're yours to customize as you will, but that makes it all the more tragic when one becomes a flaming heap of scrap. Check out the video below to see them all navigating the battlefield.

It is actually pretty close to Enemy Territory Quake Wars with persistence and actual players shooting you from Eve Online.

I hate to agree, and while the game has been in beta for a while, it still feels pretty "meh"
