Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2, Dungeon Defenders join PlayStation Plus
by Andrew Yoon, Nov 19, 2012 2:00pm PSTTomorrow's PlayStation Plus update adds six games for Vita owners. And they're pretty amazing. But even if you don't have Sony's newest handheld, Plus subscribers have something to look forward to.
Headlining tomorrow's PS3 update are two Sonic games: the HD remasters of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2. In addition, multiplayer tower defense/action-RPG Dungeon Defenders also joins the Instant Game Collection lineup.
Sony's Music Unlimited service also gets a deep discount for Plus members. A one year subscription will be available for $12, versus the regular $119 price. Music Unlimited allows you to stream "any album or song" without ads on PS3, Vita, Android and iOS devices, and PC. At only $12, it's certainly an attractive (and affordable) alternative to similar services, like Spotify.
