Darksiders 2: Abyssal Forge DLC announced
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 24, 2012 1:45pm PDTIt's a hard job, being Death, as there are always more people dying to deal with, especially if you go around whacking them with your scythe. Death's troubles in Darksiders 2 aren't over yet, as THQ today announced it'll release a second sizeable helping of downloadable content next week. 'Abyssal Forge' will see the horseman looking into the eponymous forge, which has been used to construct an army that "threatens all creation." That's probably bad.
Abyssal Forge goes down in the swampy new Shadow Lands area, with two more dungeons, new enemies, secrets, and legendary loot for your playing pleasure. THQ claims it's "tailored towards the most competent Darksiders 2 players."
The DLC is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 30, just in time for a spooky Halloween spent anti-socially playing macabre video games. It'll cost $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points).
